Teleca signs general agreement with FMV

Teleca signs general agreement with FMV On behalf of Statskontoret [Swedish Agency for Public Management] FMV [Swedish Defence Materiel Administration] has today signed a new general agreement with Teleca for the supply of IT consulting services to 51 public authorities. Teleca has been chosen from among 107 tenderers to become one of seven so-called A-suppliers who are allowed to supply services in all the areas covered by the procurement. FMV estimates the annual value of the IT consulting services that will be purchased by the authorities to be between 1,000 and 1,500 million kronor. The agreement aims to ensure that the authorities in question have access to advanced IT consulting services by allowing them to suborder them directly rather than having to go though the usual public procurement process. The agreement is valid for 2 years, with the possibility of a 12-month extension at the end of this period. "We've been through a rigorous procurement process to ensure we have access to the best technical expertise and quality available, at the right price," says Johanna Kolehmainen, project manager of the procurement evaluation team. "When considering the various tenders, we evaluated prices, references and the suppliers' experience of quality assurance." "The 51 authorities that can suborder services covered by this agreement are an important customer group for Teleca and we're looking forward to working even closer to them," says Johan Nyberg, Managing Director at Teleca AU-System. "This is Teleca's biggest general agreement in the public sector and it will mean large volumes for us."
