Confex Group, Scandinavia's leading developer and provider of open courses and conferences to the business market, has renewed and expanded its IT-outsourcing agreement with TeleComputing. The agreement means that TeleComputing will still be responsible for the delivery of IT as a function to Confex’s employees in Norway, Sweden and Denmark. The 5-year contract has an initial estimated order value of MNOK 10.

The cooperation between Confex and TeleComputing was initiated in 1997 and has since increased in scope. The new agreement means that TeleComputing will continue its overall IT responsibility for Confex in Scandinavia. In addition to the delivery and operation of IT to Confex’s users, the cooperation also includes update and control of the data network, Managed WLAN and Managed LAN, as well as TeleComputing’s concept for remote operation of local equipment - TC Managed Client.

Confex is Scandinavia's leading courses and conferences developer with over 55,000 participants and 1,200 events each year. After a tender process, with several IT vendors participating, Confex once again selected TeleComputing as their IT partner.

- Confex has been a TeleComputing customer since the start-up in 1997. With almost 12 years of experience with IT on demand services, they are also very familiar with the end-user benefits of such services, including easy and secure access to relevant IT applications and services regardless of time, place or terminal equipment. We are very proud to have Confex’s continued confidence, says André P. Løvestam, CEO of TeleComputing.
