Unilabs AB has chosen TeleComputing as their IT-operation supplier including handling of hardware and clients. The 3-year agreement has an option for another 4 years. The agreement has an initial order value of MSEK 50 and means that TeleComputing will be responsible for the IT-operation of central and local systems, communication, hardware supply, support and related consultancy services. The agreement also includes transfer of personnel.

- Last autumn we carried out a tendering process. When we evaluated the invited suppliers, we found TeleComputing to be the supplier that responded best according to our requirements for technical solution, service levels and cost efficiency. TeleComputing also provides the necessary flexibility in line with our core business needs, says Erik Gyllfors, who is responsible for tendering processes at Unilabs. Unilabs is a leading pan-European diagnostics company supplying laboratory and radiology services. Unilabs in Sweden has approximately 700 employees with a turnover of MSEK 800. At present the company includes 11 hospitals, 2 occupational health units, 12 primary health laboratories and three independent outpatients’ clinics. - We are very proud and pleased for the trust that Unilabs has shown us by letting us take responsibility for all their IT-operation needs. The private healthcare sector is enjoying strong growth where we already have many customers. This is also a segment where we expect to grow in the future. We also see great opportunities in offering IT-operation services to Unilabs in relation to their continued growth both in Sweden and abroad, says Sven Tore Kaasa, CEO in TeleComputing AS.
