KAEFER in Norway v/KAEFER Energy has chosen to extend their co-operation with TeleComputing. The new 3-year agreement means that TeleComputing will continue to be responsible for all IT-operation and related delivery of IT services to KAEFER and the company’s IT-users from TeleComputing’s centralized IT platform. The agreement strengthens TeleComputing’s position as a leading provider of centralized IT-operation services to the oil and gas industry.

- IT is not part of our core business but our needs for flexible and predictable IT-solutions which support our business are considerable. We have worked together with TeleComputing for several years and we find that their great commitment and understanding for our needs and wishes has created an atmosphere of trust between our companies. We are looking forward to a continued good co-operation in years to come, says Anna Mari Kristiansen Prièsner, CFO in KAEFER Energy.

IT is an important support function in KAEFER. The co-operation with TeleComputing first started in 2004 and has developed and expanded ever since. By outsourcing the IT-function KAEFER has obtained greater efficiency and not least a more predictable IT-cost. The payment model is based on a monthly cost per function and user.

- Companies need better and more flexible IT-solutions in today’s competitive market. Access to IT systems regardless of time, place and equipment is more important than ever and we see that companies discover how they benefit from using our special skills and unique IT-operation platform. This agreement with KEAEFER represents a recognition of our competence, delivery model and experience which we are very proud of, says Gisle Oppedal, Commercial Director in TeleComputing Norway.
