TeleComputing signs comprehensive Swedish IT-outsourcing agreement

Metria AB, previously part of Lantmäteriet in Sweden, has chosen TeleComputing as the provider of the company’s entire IT-operation. The agreement means that TeleComputing will be responsible for the it-operation of Metria’s  325 employees which includes delivery of centralized common services, work stations and servicedesk. The agreement is three years with an extension option.

- During the company spinn-off process, we were looking for a country-wide outsourcing provider that could cater for all our IT needs. We chose TeleComputing that we considered will meet all our requirements for a secure, stable and flexible IT-operation. With TeleComputing we have also found a partner that can offer opportunities for future IT development, says Johan Larsson, IT-manager in Metria.

Metria is Sweden’s laeding consultancy company for geograhical information and offers services which help customers collect, enhance and use geodata as efficient as possible in their business. All the large banks in Sweden get their data from Metria. Bank- and insurance customers in particular appreciate the unique information found in the Swedish property register.
