TeleComputing has signed a frame agreement with Reitangruppen for the delivery of IT-operation services which comprise computer centre, hardware, infrastructure and software. The agreement has an estimated value of 30 MNOK.

– Reitangruppen has a turnover of NOK 60 billion and consists of four businesses, each with particular requirements for flexible, large and future-oriented IT-solutions. We wanted a supplier that could deliver infrastructure services with high quality, and with least possible preconditions and exceptions that could support our applications.  The frame agreement involves all the companies in Reitangruppen, and will initially be utilized by REMA 1000, REMA Distribusjon and Gladengen Drift. Each company in Reitangruppen will have the opportunity to participate in the frame agreement by entering a separate agreement. We are looking forward to a good co-operation with TeleComputing in the future, says Steinar Forshaug, IT-manager in REMA 1000.

The delivery includes operation and monitoring of existing server-platform, new centralized operation environment delivered as a ”Infrastructure as a service” as well as operation and monitoring of network infrastructure.

– This agreement is yet another confirmation that our flexible and scalable IT-solutions are attractive for companies that don’t have IT-operation as their core business. Reitangruppen is a reputable company that is fully aware of how IT should be utilized in the best possible way to support its business. We are very proud for the confidence Reitangruppen has shown us by signing this agreement and will do our utmost to ensure that Reitangruppen will enjoy all the benefits that our IT-solutions can provide, says Sven Tore Kaasa, CEO in TeleComputing AS.
