TeleComputing has further broadened the scope of the current co-operation agreement with BW Offshore and signed a new agreement with Eiendomsfinans. The extended co-operation agreement with BW Offshore means that TeleComputing will be responsible for the central IT-operation for users and business critical applications in APL, a 100 % owned BW Offshore subsidiary. The 5-year agreement with Eiendomsfinans, with an estimated contract value of MNOK 6, means that TeleComputing will deliver a complete, centralized IT-operation solution to all employees.

BW Offshore is one of the world's leading FPSO contractors and a market leader within advanced offshore loading and production systems to the oil and gas industry. The extended agreement means that the IT-operation of APL, a 100 %-owned BW Offshore subsidiary, will be integrated towards a central platform. The new solution will provide the company with a unique, flexible and cost-efficient IT platform tailored for handling changes in needs and opportunities. The co-operation between BW Offshore and TeleComputing was first established in 2007 and has since increased in scope.

Eiendomsfinans is one of Norway’s largest independent mortgage brokers. The company is represented all over Norway with 18 offices from Harstad to Kristiansand and has 70 employees. TeleComputing will deliver a complete, centralized IT-operations solution to all employees comprising Office, Internet, mail and SuperOffice in addition to services such as home office, mobile services, communication and security. The 5-year agreement has an initial estimated contract value of MNOK 6 which is expected to increase during the agreement time period.

– We experience an increasing interest from our customers and other companies that are looking for a simpler and more efficient IT-operation which in turn will enable them to focus more time and effort on their own core business. We have also noticed that many companies now prefer to have only one IT-partner that will handle everything from it-related business analysis to it-operation and related maintenance, says André P. Løvestam, CEO in TeleComputing.
