High Definition Systems launches service prototyping and validation environment based on Telelogic Tau MALMÖ, Sweden, March 23 - High Definition Systems AB (HDS) and Telelogic AB have today announced the release of the new HDS product INAP Wrapper 1.1. INAP Wrapper is a graphical simulation environment supporting service prototyping and validation in the early phases of telecom service creation. The environment is based on the Telelogic Tau tool suite and is built around the standard ETSI specification of the INAP CS1/2 protocol for Intelligent Networks (IN). "By enabling early service validation, INAP Wrapper can speed up the service creation process and reduce time-to-market for new IN services", says Kristofer Kimbler, Managing Director of HDS. "The market response to INAP Wrapper is very positive, and a number of telecom companies from Europe and North America have already expressed their interest in the product". Mr. Kimbler thinks that this is just the beginning of a whole range of supplementary products supporting telecom service creation based on Telelogic Tau to be provided by HDS. According to Gustav Bergman, Business Segment Manager for Network Intelligence of Telelogic, "Telelogic's overall strategy is to promote the development of supplementary products to Telelogic Tau for IN and IP-telephony Service Creation. INAP Wrapper gives Telelogic Tau users an excellent support for service prototyping and animation of the service behavior. Combined with the standard tools in Telelogic Tau like the MSC Editor and the SDT Simulator, INAP Wrapper is probably one of the most powerful rapid prototyping environments for IN service creation available on the market today." Availability INAP Wrapper will be available on all the platforms supported by Telelogic Tau.
