Philips picks Telelogic for their 3G development MALMÖ, April, 4th 2000 - Telelogic AB (Stockholm Stock Exchange:TLOG), the leading supplier of design, development and testing tools for real- time communications applications, today announced a first order from Philips Consumer Communications related to the third generation mobile telephony (3G). Philips has decided to use Telelogic's development tools for their 3G development and follow-up orders are expected. "For Telelogic, this is a break-through at Philips", says Eric Lundquist, VP Sales for Market Division Europe at Telelogic. "Thanks to our unique position within 3G we have now successfully established a cooperation with one of the world's largest electronic companies. Philips Consumer Communications also develops products within other interesting areas like Bluetooth and GPRS and we see a potential for cooperation in these areas as well." "Today's agreement is also a great success for the integration process with Verilog.", says Anders Lidbeck, President and CEO for Telelogic. "Verilog, which we acquired by the end of 1999, had Philips as one of their customers. Verilog's relation to Philips and Telelogic's 3G skills proofed to be a very successful combination and we expect similar effects of the acquisition in a near future." About Telelogic Telelogic is established in ten countries under its own name, and a further 20 countries through distributors.
