Successful Implementation of Telelogic Tau in Intelligent Network Development at Lucent Technologies MALMÖ, Sweden, June 13, 2000 - Telelogic AB (Stockholm Stock Exchange: TLOG), a leading supplier of software development solutions for the real- time communications industry, announced that the Advanced Software Construction Center (ASCC) of Lucent Technologies recently selected Telelogic's state-of-the-art Telelogic Tau SDL and TTCN Suites to be utilized in the development process of their Intelligent Network (IN) services. The ASCC initiated implementation of Telelogic Tau's SDL and TTCN Suites during quarter one, and are planning to deploy the tools during the year. Telelogic Tau provides an integrated solution that allows systems engineers to create graphical, platform-independent Message Sequence Chart (MSC) requirements and SDL reference models. Utilizing SDL's formal syntax, Telelogic Tau will allow Lucent's ASCC engineers to prototype the real-time behavior of an IN service at a very early phase of the development cycle through simulation and validation. In addition, Telelogic Tau will automate the IN feature testing process by taking advantage of Telelogic Tau's automatic TTCN test-case generation feature.
