Telelogic consolidates the Americas organization MALMÖ, Sweden, April 9, 2001 - Telelogic AB (Stockholm Stock Exchange: TLOG), the world-leading supplier of solutions for advanced software development, today announced a consolidation of the parts of the American organization that were received through the acquisitions of QSS and Continuus. The consolidation will lead to reduced costs of approximately 30 MSEK on an annual basis and is a part of securing the efficiency of Telelogic's Americas Market organization. "The action improves and makes our organization in the US more competitive.", says Anders Lidbeck, CEO and President for Telelogic. "In the first step of the integration we scaled down functions within IT and F&A as well as middle management. With structure, processes and systems in place we are now ready to also increase the efficiency and focus of our sales and market organization." From previously being spread geographically over the continent, the Telelogic Americas Marketing organization is now concentrated to one site on the East Coast. Through a restructuring of the former sales teams from QSS, Continuus and Telelogic, an integrated Sales organization is created, covering the entire US, which renders increased possibilities for cross selling and a higher quota per sales team. Telelogic's Market Division Americas organization will be 290 people after the restructuring. Including product development a total of 360 people are employed in the US. "This change will reduce our costs by approximately 30 MSEK and reduce our personnel at headquarter level. It will also reduce a management layer in the US. The changes are jointly constructed with the former CEO´s of QSS and Continuus. They will now leave Telelogic's management team and will be replaced by more operational executives.
