Telelogic DOORS and Telelogic FOCAL POINT, Telelogic SYNERGY, and Telelogic TAU G2 Praised for Innovation, Integration and Functionality

MALMÖ, Sweden and IRVINE, California – March 28, 2006 - Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the leading provider of software solutions that align advanced systems and software development with business objectives, today announced that three of its major product suites had received favorable reviews in three separate February 2006, Butler Group Technology Audits on requirements management, change and configuration management and model-driven development. The three reports closely follow the release of Butler Group's report on enterprise modeling and integration capabilities in which Telelogic SYSTEM ARCHITECT® earned high marks. Telelogic's market- and technology-leading Lifecycle Solutions automate and support best practices for requirements management, change management, decision-making and UML™ 2.0 and SysML based system design and modeling across the enterprise. The requirements management solutions report, written by Teresa Jones, evaluated Telelogic DOORS®, the market-leading solution for requirements management, and FOCAL POINT™, a comprehensive decision-making solution for project portfolio management and product management. The report recognized Telelogic as "a leading vendor in requirements management solutions," which "continues to innovate and provide tools that are powerful yet usable." Among the key product strengths and attributes highlighted by the report were: - Close integration of requirements management with leading test management tools and Telelogic’s own change management solution (Telelogic SYNERGY™); - The FOCAL POINT and DOORS integration that bridges "the void between marketing and engineering;" - Telelogic’s flexible token-based licensing. Telelogic SYNERGY was the focus of the second report. Written by Michael Azoff and Teresa Jones, it evaluated the change and configuration management solution and its innovative, task-based approach that provides a number of key capabilities: - Task-based change and configuration management; - Full auditing for compliance purposes; - Role-based and lifecycle tracking of change requests, with Web-based reporting capabilities; - Parallel development capability; - Integration with other Telelogic and third-party tools, including issue tracking systems. The third report focused on Telelogic TAU® G2 which provides UML™ 2.0 and SysML based analysis, specification, modeling and testing capabilities for systems engineering and software development. TAU G2 automates design and development best practices for systems engineering; software development for embedded systems, real time operating systems, and advanced systems; defense systems architecture; and testing. Among other findings, author Michael Azoff noted that Telelogic TAU G2: - Provides support for UML 2.0 executable models; - Offers easy-to-use design features such as on-the-fly model checking; - Integrates with Eclipse and other development environments; - Integrates with other Telelogic lifecycle solutions. The report states that Telelogic is deeply involved with a number of standards committees governing the field of modeling. As these standards evolve, Butler Group predicts that TAU G2 will adopt the latest changes in future releases. "Four very positive reports on Telelogic products – in less than three months – are a tremendous compliment to our company and our focus on providing solutions for automating and supporting best practices across the enterprise," said Telelogic CEO, Anders Lidbeck. "We are very gratified that the commitment we have made in bringing world-class solutions, industry-leading technology, and true integration has been recognized by as prestigious an organization as Butler Group."
