Telelogic receives largest maintenance contract ever with leading US defense company MALMÖ, Sweden - January 3, 2002 - Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced software and systems development, today announced that it has signed a three-year maintenance agreement worth $605.000 annually (E672.000), with a leading US defense company. With today's agreement, the customer chooses to group the maintenance of all Telelogic's products into one centralized agreement. The customer has more than 2000 installed licenses of Telelogic's tools, most of which are Telelogic Synergy (change & configuration management), the rest being Telelogic DOORS (requirements management) and Telelogic Tau UML Suite (software analysis and modeling). "This is our single largest maintenance agreement ever," says Anders Lidbeck, President and CEO for Telelogic. "Our company, and the companies we have acquired, has in the past signed separate agreement with the customer's subsidiaries. We are now elevated to being a strategic vendor from the customer's perspective, which allows us to do business directly with the customer's department for standardization of development tools and methods." Parts of the customer's organization have reached SEI CMM quality level 5, which very few companies in the world have succeeded with.
