Telelogic renews agreement worth E1.3 Million with leading European telecom vendor MALMÖ, Sweden - December 22, 2003 - Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced that a leading European telecom vendor has renewed a one-year agreement for Telelogic TAU® for the year 2004. The agreement is worth approximately E1.3 million for the one-year period. A majority of the contract is related to maintenance of the customer's existing licenses of TAU Generation1, but the agreement also includes new licenses for TAU Generation2. "The positive trend that TAU has seen during the last quarters, continues," said Anders Lidbeck, President and CEO for Telelogic. "Current users of TAU continue to renew maintenance agreements and gradually upgrade to TAU Generation2, a trend that has been visible since the second quarter this year. These users have already experienced the productivity and quality benefits that advanced development tools and automated development processes can provide." TAU Generation2, which is based on the UML® 2.0 standard, allows companies to deploy an integrated, multi-user visual tool solution that supports and accelerates the entire application development lifecycle - from system analysis and specification to software design, implementation and testing - all within the same development environment. Using models to visualize the development process, TAU Generation2 tools enable significant increases in productivity to be realized compared to labor-intensive manual programming approaches About Telelogic Founded in 1983, Telelogic® is a leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development.
