MALMÖ, Sweden – December 17, 2004 – Telelogic, (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced that it has signed a $1.2 Million license and maintenance agreement with a leading American producer of jet engines for commercial and military aircraft. The company is a world leader in the provision of aircraft engines. The five-year contract will deploy Telelogic SYNERGY to more than 400 engineers in the company’s engine control group. This order follows an earlier investment in the market leading requirements management (RM) solution Telelogic DOORS®. The investments together with a partner’s market leading Product Lifecycle Management solution will provide a complete Customer Needs Management solution. “The integration of RM, Change and Configurations Management (CM) into the product lifecycle will help our customer lower costs and improve time to market while better meeting their customer demands.” said Scott Raskin, President, Telelogic Americas and Asia/Pacific. “We are extremely excited to see yet another large global organization replacing competitors CM software with SYNERGY.” Telelogic SYNERGY was chosen through an extensive proof of concept process to validate its high performance functionality and ease of use in a large complex environment versus competitive products. The implementation will replace competitive solutions. "Telelogic is continuously strengthening its position in the defense and aerospace industry, said Anders Lidbeck, president and CEO of Telelogic. "With Telelogic’s tools in place, development teams can work more effectively together, cope better with changes, communicate more efficiently, meet demanding deadlines, and minimize development errors. Our proven success in these areas in combination with DOORS´ market leading position and SYNERGY´s task based methodology gives our customers a sharp advantage in this very important process”
