Telelogic signs large consultancy agreement with European car manufacturer

Telelogic signs large consultancy agreement with European car manufacturer MALMÖ, Sweden - October 23, 2001 - Telelogic (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the world-leading provider of solutions for advanced software and systems development, has today received a major consulting agreement with a non-disclosed European car manufacturer. The deal amounts to Euro 1.46 million (US$ 1.3 million). Under the agreement Telelogic will deliver in-car multimedia and information solutions, so called telematics systems for one of the customer's new car models in the luxury segment within 12 months. In the project Telelogic will help the customer develop advanced information and entertainment systems for the driver and the passengers in the car. These are developed based on MOST (Media Oriented Systems Transport), a world standard for data communication of multimedia and telematics applications, mainly within the automotive sector. In the project a number of the tools supplied by Telelogic will be used; Telelogic DOORS, Telelogic Tau SDL Suite, Telelogic Tau TTCN Suite as well as RapidPlus, a tool that is distributed by Telelogic. With these tools the different phases of the project can be handled more efficiently, including requirements management, prototyping and simulation, modelling and development as well as component and integration testing.
