Telelogic strengthens its position in France through acquisition MALMÖ, August 2, 1999 - Telelogic AB entered into a contract today to acquire all of the shares of Objectif S.A. Objectif is a French company that special- izes in real-time oriented software development within the telecom and the de- fense industries. "The acquisition of Objectif will give us the resources we need to success- fully conduct a consulting business in France," says Anders Lidbeck, CEO of Telelogic. "Objectif has cutting edge expertise, skill and experience in ex- actly those area we need for our continued expansion. We are primarily acquir- ing capacity in Professional Services, in other words, training and consulting services, but, at the same time, this will strengthen our position with stra- tegic French customers, and will lay the groundwork for strong continued ex- pansion on the French market," continues Anders Lidbeck. "Objectif and Telelogic will develop very well together. The two companies complement each other fantastically in skills and expertise, products and mar- ket positions," comments Pierre Boulon, the previous CEO and primary owner of Objectif, and now Professional Service Manager of Telelogic France. Telelogic will merge its French subsidiary with Objectif this autumn. The ac- quisition will contribute positively to Telelogic's profits during the ensuing year. Other financial conditions will not be revealed at the seller's request. About Objectif Objectif was founded ten years ago by Pierre Boulon, and has since developed expertise in software development for embedded real time systems. Objectif has 14 employees, and is expected to reach sales of more than 9 million SEK, and a good rate of profitability. The company is located in Paris, and its major customers include Alcatel, Sagem, Valeo and Thomson.
