Automotive Tier 1 supplier adds Telelogic DOORS® to its earlier investment in Telelogic SYNERGY™ for their application lifecycle solution

MALMÖ, Sweden – December 16, 2004 – Telelogic, (Stockholm Exchange: TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced a $2.2 Million licensing and maintenance agreement with a leading American automotive tier 1 supplier. The company is a world leader in mobile electronics, transportation components and systems technology. The three-year contract will see Telelogic DOORS deployed to 500 electronic and electrical engineers over more than a dozen of the company’s global development sites. This order combined with the investment made in Telelogic SYNERGY earlier this year confirms the customers commit to Telelogic as its strategic supplier for automated lifecycle management (ALM) tools. "The customer commitment to the agreement reinforces our strategy of providing the best automated lifecycle management solution.” said Anders Lidbeck, president and CEO. "With this three-year agreement, we continue to prove our value as we expand our penetration in the automotive market.” "Automotive development is increasingly sophisticated with extreme performance and quality requirements. The complexity of systems and software require greater automation of the lifecycle. A requirements driven development process ensures that what is built the first time meets specifications while lowering post production maintenance costs. " said Scott Raskin, President, Telelogic Americas and Asia/Pacific. "With so much at stake, DOORS provides automotive manufacturers and their suppliers with the reliability, quality and traceability they need."
