TELEMUNDO ANNOUNCED “UN POQUITO TUYO,” A ROMANTIC COMEDY SLATED TO PREMIERE ON MONDAY, MAY 13 AT 8PM/7C
A fun, contemporary love story starring renowned Spanish-language television stars Marjorie de Sousa, Jorge Salinas and Lorena Herrera
MIAMI – April 3, 2019 – Telemundo announced the premiere date for “Un Poquito Tuyo” on Monday, May 13 at 8pm/7c. Filmed in Mexico City, Cuernavaca and Los Cabos, this production stars Marjorie de Sousa, Jorge Salinas and Lorena Herrera. “Un Poquito Tuyo” is a contemporary romantic comedy for the whole family about a successful business man struggling to teach his wife a and children the importance of family values over material things, after a life of privileges turns them into entitled members of society. In his struggle, he will learn that it’s never too late to start over and find true love.
Following her successful lead role in “Al Otro Lado del Muro” (2018), Venezuelan actress Marjorie de Sousa returns to Telemundo as “Julieta,” a courageous and intelligent woman who will have to overcome heartbreak, deception and life’s many unexpected turns to be able to find true love. Joining de Souza are Mexican actors Jorge Salinas and Lorena Herrera as “Antonio Solano” and his wife, “Catalina.” Antonio is a successful businessman from humble beginnings who has devoted his life to giving his family a life of privilege, but his children have taken advantage of his generosity and his wife cares only about her looks, spending all his money on plastic surgeries. In return, for Antonio, this life of luxury he worked so hard to provide for his family has become his biggest source of unhappiness. As he takes matters into his own hands and makes drastic changes to restore his family’s values, his path will cross with Julieta’s, who unexpectedly comes into his life and turns it upside down.
“Un Poquito Tuyo” also features the special participation of Raúl Coronado in the role of “Elvis Rosales,” alongside a stellar cast that includes Daniel Tovar, Thalí García, David Palacio, Alexa Martín, Eugenio Montessoro, Josh Gutiérrez, Camila Rojas, Christian de la Campa, David Caro Levy, Eva Cedeño, Nubia Martí, Solkin Ruz, Ariane Pellicer, María José Magan, Sergio Rogalto, Carlos Speitzer and Carlos Athié, among others.
This story is an original Imagen Televisión production adapted by Rossana Negrín (“Mariposa de Barrio,” “Tierra de Reyes”), based on the hit Chilean series “Tranquilo Papá.”
