Held annually since 2000, the eco Gala and Awards took place last night in Cologne and brought together over 300 guests from the German internet and telecommunications industry, with thirty companies nominated across ten categories. The event recognises innovation and achievements in the internet business and celebrates those who are shaping the future for the rest of the industry. The selection of the best provider in each category was based on the criteria of the eco organisation, and judged by a jury composed of experts from the fields of economy, sciences and journalism.

Harald A. Summa, Managing Director of the eco organization, commented last night “eco is the organization of the German internet economy with an impressive impact on the industry and market.
