Jonas Bengtsson appointed General Counsel at TeliaSonera
TeliaSonera’s General Counsel Jan Henrik Ahrnell has decided to leave his post as general counsel. He will be succeeded by Jonas Bengtsson from Tele2.
“I am very pleased that we have been able to recruit Jonas Bengtsson to TeliaSonera. He has extensive experience of developing and managing legal teams in complex and international environments,” said Johan Dennelind, TeliaSonera’s incoming President and CEO.
“Jan Henrik Ahrnell will take on the role of Senior Advisor. His extensive experience from 14 years as General Counsel at TeliaSonera will be valuable for the Group in key projects.”
Jonas Bengtsson has a law degree from the University of Lund and has more than ten years of experience working as General Counsel in the telecom sector. He has been with Tele2 since 2007, and before that he held similar positions at Telenor Sweden and Utfors.
Jonas Bengtsson will assume his position in the beginning of 2014 at the latest.
