Limited participation and short agenda at Telia Company’s AGM
Due to the new coronavirus Telia Company shortens the agenda for the annual general meeting on April 2, 2020 and encourages all shareholders to authorise a proxy holder instead of attending the event in person.
Telia Company encourages all shareholders who wish to be represented at Telia Company’s AGM to authorise Euroclear as a proxy holder. Shareholders are in this way given the possibility to be represented at the AGM without having to be present in person. A template proxy form is available at www.teliacompany.com. Proxy documents will be collected and handled by Euroclear in accordance with applicable regulation. An original proxy form must be available to Euroclear Sweden today on March 31, 2020 at the latest.
Telia Company has also decided to shorten the AGM agenda as a precautionary measure to minimize the risk of spreading infection. Only shareholders will be allowed to attend the room during the AGM.
From the Board of Directors and the General Executive Management, only Lars-Johan Jarnheimer, Chair of the Board, Christian Luiga, acting President and CEO and Jonas Bengtsson, General Counsel will be present on the premises of the AGM. Christian Luiga will not address the AGM, his speech will be published at www.teliacompany.com.
Telia Company has previously decided not to serve refreshments at the AGM.
The AGM will only be held if, in Telia Company’s assessment, it can be held in a responsible way with regards to risks of spreading infection and in accordance with applicable regulations and restrictions. If Telia Company determines that this is not the case, the AGM will be cancelled and held at a later time.
The annual general meeting of Telia Company AB will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2020, at 2 p.m. CET at Lilla Cirkus, Cirkus, Djurgårdsslätten 43-45 in Stockholm. Registration for the meeting starts at 1 p.m. CET.
