Malin Frenning appointed President of Broadband Services

Malin Frenning, currently deputy Head of Broadband Services, has been appointed President of Business Area Broadband Services, as of 1 January 2011.

Malin Frenning was appointed Deputy Head of Broadband Services in February 2010, with the aim of succeeding Anders Gylder, President of Business Area Broadband Services, when he retires at the end of December this year.

“Since February, Malin Frenning has been focusing on developing the growth strategy for Broadband Services in the Nordic and Baltic countries. There are many challenges ahead of us, as the demand for new services and bandwidth continues to grow and requires extensive network upgrades and new business models. I am confident that Malin will do a great job in leading this work in Broadband Services,” says Lars Nyberg, President and CFO.

Malin Frenning, 43, joined Telia as a management trainee in 1993. She has more than 10 years’ experience from senior management positions in TeliaSonera with specific focus on the carrier business, international business strategy and product management. Malin Frenning has an MSc in Engineering from Luleå University of Technology in Sweden.
