Share buy-backs in Telia Company to cover commitments under the ‘Long Term Incentive Program 2015/2018’

On 3 May 2018, Telia Company AB (publ) (LEI code 213800FSR9RNDUOTXO25) has repurchased in total 445 891 own shares (ISIN: SE0000667925) as part of the share buy-back programme initiated by the Board of Directors to cover commitments under the “Long Term Incentive Program 2015/2018” approved by the Annual General Meeting 2015. The share buy-back programme, which Telia Company announced on 27 April 2018, is being carried out in accordance with the Market Abuse Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (”MAR”) and the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) No 2016/1052 (the “Safe Harbour Regulation”). The shares are intended to be distributed to the participants in the “Long Term Incentive Program 2015/2018” by 20 May 2018, at the latest.

Shares in Telia Company have been repurchased as follows as part of this share buy-back programme.

All acquisitions have been carried out on Nasdaq Stockholm by Danske Bank A/S, Danmark, Sverige Filial on behalf of Telia Company. Following the above acquisitions, Telia Companys holding of own shares amounts to 4,845,891 shares as of 3 May 2018. The total number of shares in Telia Company is 4,330,084,781.

As announced on 20 April 2018, the Board of Directors of Telia Company has also resolved on a share buy-back programme not exceeding SEK 5 billion during the period 23 April 2018 – 22 March 2019. Transactions carried out within the SEK 5 billion share buy-back programme will be disclosed separately.
