SurfPort Awards – TeliaSonera Honouring Excellence in Innovative and Easy to Use Mobile Content

TeliaSonera now presents the nominations for the SurfPort Awards, an initiative in partnership with Sony Ericsson, in order to reward and inspire content providers in the development of mobile internet services in the Nordic and Baltic regions. “With SurfPort Awards our ambition is both to reward and inspire the development of mobile content to TeliaSonera´s common mobile portal SurfPort. Our main goal is to provide our SurfPort customers in the Nordic and Baltic countries with fun, useful and easy-to-use mobile internet services and the award nominations emphasizes the importance of the content provider in enabling the best possible content for the users,” says Martin Vendel, Head of Product Area Mobile, TeliaSonera AB. The award ceremony will be hosted on October 28 in Copenhagen with the nominated content providers present as well as other prominent representatives within the Nordic and Baltic telecommunications industry.
