Sverker Hannervall appointed Head of Business Services

Sverker Hannervall was recently recruited from Cisco to head up TeliaSonera’s business to business sales organisation in Sweden from August 1, 2008. In addition to those responsibilities, he has now been appointed Senior Vice President and Head of the Business Services sales division in Sweden and Finland.

Sverker Hannervall, aged 48, has a long and broad experience from the IT- and telecom industry. Most recently, he was General Manager of Cisco Systems in Sweden, a position he held since 2004. He is a board member of Teligent AB and has held a number of leading positions within Trio AB, Telelogic and IBM. He also acts as an advisor to the private equity firm InnovationsKapital AB. Sverker Hannervall has an MSc in engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.

Sverker Hannervall succeeds Juho Lipsanen, who as previously communicated has left the TeliaSonera group.
