Swedish Agency for Public Management chooses TeliaSonera The Swedish Agency for Public Management has once again chosen TeliaSonera as a supplier of mobile and fixed telephony for the public sector. The new government agreement now under procurement includes fixed and mobile traffic, PBX access, and services. The agreement is valid for 15 months and includes all government departments and authorities, as well as the majority of local authorities and county councils. "This is a crucially important deal to us. We're dealing with an important customer category, where we will be able to offer functional cost-effective solutions in a sector with high levels of cost- effectiveness, availability and service," says Anders Gylder, Director of the Large Companies segment, TeliaSonera Sweden. TeliaSonera has also previously been a supplier of fixed and mobile telephony, telephony services, and data communication services. In the face of stiff competition then, confidence in TeliaSonera has grown within fixed and mobile traffic. The framework agreement within the other segments will be procured later. "Our strength lies in the our whole profile. We have solutions that match up well with the requirements that have been set, and a well- functioning service organisation. These were factors that counted for a lot during the evaluation, and in comparison with other operators," says Gylder. "We can also offer additional services that were not required, but which may contribute to additional cost-effectiveness and simplification of the day-to-day work."
