Telia achieves CDP ‘A’ score for the first time

Telia has been awarded its first-ever ‘A’ score by CDP, in recognition of its leadership in corporate transparency and climate change action. The score puts Telia in the top 4% of companies assessed by CDP.

Achieving an ‘A’ places Telia among the global leaders demonstrating comprehensive disclosure, mature environmental governance and meaningful progress towards environmental resilience.

CDP operates an independent environmental disclosure system and assessed nearly 20,000 companies in 2025. It evaluates companies’ depth of reporting, understanding of environmental risks and evidence of best practice – including ambitious target-setting and verified action.

Highlights of Telia’s climate work include:

• Ambitious targets: Telia is committed to achieving net-zero in its value chain by 2040, with near- and long-term science-based targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative.
• Broad scope: Telia has published a Climate Transition Plan that identifies key environmental levers across its business while outlining actions to reduce emissions. The plan includes both Telia’s own operations and its supply chain, where Telia is collaborating with suppliers to set science-based targets.
• Robust governance and transparency: Climate considerations are embedded in Telia’s company strategy, supported by governance structures and reporting aligned with global frameworks such as CSRD and TCFD.
