Telia Company comments media speculations

Telia Company notes speculations in media regarding the European Commission’s ongoing investigation into the acquisition of Bonnier Broadcasting. Telia Company has the following comments:

The European Commission’s phase 2 investigation is still ongoing, and we are working closely and constructively with the Commission. We remain confident and will continue the dialogue, but we cannot comment the process any further as long as we haven’t been formally notified of a final decision.

The Commission has until November 19, 2019, to decide on the merger.
