Telia Connect Pro - total freedom for mobile work On display for the first time at Telia's Future seminar in Stockholm yesterday was Telia Connect Pro. This is a new business concept for larger companies, linking technology, innovation, and simplicity into one unique solution. One simple login, automatic selection of the best network, and computer programs that are always up make this laptop into a mobile office wherever you are. According to a survey commissioned by Telia, three out of four managers in Sweden's larger companies think mobile methods of working offer greater profitability. The technology is hidden away in the new Telia Connect Pro service, so users can focus undisturbed on their work. The computer scans to find which networks are available: GPRS, 3G, Homerun/ WLAN, LAN, selects the best and fastest one, and then automatically goes over to your login. The work is there in the computer too, quite imperceptible to the user. Security has been an important aspect in developing this service to meet high security standards. All major companies have their own special needs, based on business sector, size, type of flexible working posts, and much else besides, so this service is adapted to each individual customer.
