Telia customers in Denmark to benefit from growing 4G network
Telia in Denmark, has, through TT-Netvaerket, secured the 800 MHz-frequency for 2 X10 MHz for DKK 111 million, to further roll-out 4G network in Denmark. This marks an important step in creating Denmark´s most extensive mobile broadband network.

4G was launched in Denmark, December 2010 in Copenhagen, Aarhus, Aalborg and Odense, covering 5% of the population. Since then, due to extensive rollout of 4G, at the end of 2011, 75% of the population in those cities can enjoy the benefits of the vast broadband network. Today, TT-Netvaerket has 4G on the 2600 and 1800 MHz frequencies. Now, with access to the 800 MHz frequency TT-Netvaerket can build 4G networks in more sparsely populated areas.
TT-Netvaerket is a joint venture between Telia and Telenor in Denmark, and operates both companies’ mobile infrastructures.
