It will soon be possible to surf wirelessly at summer cottages, airports, cafes or harbors without needing to worry about the cost. On June 25, Telia will launch a new wireless broadband service with a fixed price. For SEK 199/month, Telia customers are free to surf as much as they would like on their laptop computers.

Telia customers have previously been able to surf wirelessly during evening and weekends at a fixed rate of SEK 89/month. On June 25, Telia will introduce a new service that offers unlimited mobile surfing 24 hours a day. You can e-mail, chat or pay your bills whenever and wherever you want for a fixed price of SEK 199/month.

"The combination of being able to surf wirelessly without limiting data volumes, at any time and with full cost control is unbeatable. You will be able to access from practically anywhere all of the opportunities a fast Internet connection offers," says Håkan Dahlström, head of Mobility Services at TeliaSonera in Sweden.

The new offer for Telia Wireless Broadband also includes Telia's surf zones from Telia Homerun (WLAN), which can be found at airports, train stations, hotels and a large number of the service stations along Swedish highways. There are approximately 500 Homerun surf zones throughout Sweden. Just in time for summer, Telia is also increasing the number of surf zones at classic vacation areas, such as the archipelago in Stockholm, the west coast, camping grounds, soccer stadiums and harbors.

The summer campaign, which starts June 25, includes a one-time fee of SEK 250 for Telia Wireless Broadband. The PC card costs SEK 395 and the USB modem SEK 895 with a 12-month subscription period. Bandwidth varies depending on location (GPRS, EDGE, 3G/UMTS, WLAN). Prices apply only in Sweden.
