Telia reduces call rates from Sweden to Denmark, Norway and Finland On June 18 Telia is reducing the price of international calls from Telia's fixed network in Sweden to all fixed-line telephones in Denmark, Norway and Finland. The new call rate will be SEK 0.50 per minute (including 25% VAT), compared to the current price of SEK 0. 95/minute - a price reduction of nearly 50 percent. "Norway is the No. 1 foreign destination for international calls from Sweden and is closely followed by Denmark and Finland, which share second place," says Indra Åsander, head of the Consumer Segment at TeliaSonera Sweden. "The price reduction is an important part of our customer strategy to show the benefits of using Telia. With the reduced rate for calls to our neighbouring countries in the Nordic region, our prices will be considerably lower than the rates of most of our competitors in these countries." The new call rate is valid for the subscriptions Telia Bas, Telia Bas Ungdom, Telia Duocom, Telia Telebonus Total, Telia Mikrosamtal, Telia Budget Call and the Basic Price List for companies.
