Telia reduces price for prepaid card customers Telia is introducing a new type of subscription for mobile telephony - Telia Refill - and is cutting prices at the same time. The price for sending an SMS message will be reduced 20 percent and the minute rate for calls to Telia's fixed and mobile networks will reduced up to 50 percent. For customers calling for SEK 75-80 per month, prices will be cut 12 to 20 percent. The subscriptions Refill Bas and Original are being discontinued and customers with these prepaid cards will be automatically transferred to the new Telia Refill subscription, which will be launched on February 23. The pricing plan remains for young people up to the age of 25, in which a young person who registers his prepaid subscription can send SMS messages for SEK 1 each and receives a registration bonus in the form of call time worth SEK 100. "Today, we have close to two million Refill customers and it has been a very popular type of subscription for a long time. With Telia Refill, a call in Telia's fixed and mobile networks costs SEK 4.90/min. weekdays from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. (Original SEK 6/min., Bas SEK 4.90/min.). Calls during other times cost SEK 0.40/min. (Original SEK 0.80, Bas SEK 0.50). Prices for calls to networks of other operators remain unchanged (SEK 6/min. weekdays from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., SEK 2/min. other times).
