Telia reduces rates for international calls from Sweden

It will now be cheaper to make international calls from Sweden. Starting today (Dec. 20), Telia is reducing call rates by an average of 36 percent for all consumers who order Telia’s International Discount (“Telia Utlandsrabatt”). The discounted rates are valid for all calls from a fixed line phone. Telia International Discount costs SEK 15 month.

A person calling to Spain from Sweden can normally recover the SEK 15 monthly fee by making a single call. For calls to other countries, the monthly fee of SEK 15 is already recovered after two or three calls. The new pricing plan consists of discounted minute rates for calls made from Telia’s fixed network in Sweden to other fixed line phones and mobile phones in other countries. The fixed monthly fee for the pricing plan is SEK 15.
