TeliaSonera today issued a Eurobond of EUR 550 million under its existing EUR 7 billion EMTN (Euro Medium Term Note) programme. The Re-offer yield was set at 5.239% p.a. equivalent to Euro Mid-swaps + 250 bp for a five year deal maturing in March 2014.

"We are pleased with this deal and we now have a very well-balanced debt maturity profile. The order-book was of high quality and significantly oversubscribed allowing favorable funding terms despite a turbulent financial market,” says Per-Arne Blomquist, Executive Vice President and CFO.

The Joint Bookrunners mandated by TeliaSonera for this transaction were BNP Paribas, Calyon, Deutsche Bank and Nordea.
