TeliaSonera Finland execute previously communicated efficiency measures

The employer/employee negotiations that were announced in February, 2005 to reduce about 650 positions have now been concluder. The reason for the negotiations was the need to streamline TeliaSonera Finland’s operations. The permanent changes in the competitive environment, regulation in the telecommunications industry and the focusing of the product portfolio are the main reasons for the streamlining activities.
