TeliaSonera number one telecom operator in the Nordic Carbon Disclosure project 2010

For the fourth consequential year TeliaSonera is the number one telecom operator in the Nordic Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). Globally TeliaSonera ranks among the telecom sector’s five leaders.

Additionally this year, TeliaSonera is featured in CDP’s Nordic 200 ‘Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index’ (CDLI). The CDLI is an index comprising of 20 companies within Nordic stock exchanges, regardless of industry sector, which have displayed the most professional approach to corporate governance in respect of climate change disclosure practices.

TeliaSonera has worked actively with carbon reduction and energy efficiency since the 1990’s and has reported on its environmental strategies and progress through CDP, since 2003.
