TeliaSonera presents nominees for SurfPort Awards
SurfPort Awards, which takes place on January 25 in Stockholm, is the event of the year for content providers and the mobile Internet industry. During this gala, the best mobile services of 2006 available on SurfPort will be awarded.
SurfPort is the leading mobile Internet portal in the Nordic and Baltic region with over 1 million users per month.
“We are delighted that our content providers have continued to produce new services and we are very satisfied with overall development during the year. The number of services on SurfPort is steadily growing and in parallel an increasing number of well known brands are making their entry on to the mobile Internet. In addition to music and TV services, user generated content services, such as mobile blogging, dating, uploading of personal videos and images are becoming more popular,” says Henrik Nilsson, Head of SurfPort at TeliaSonera AB.
The SurfPort Awards are divided into six different prize categories. The nominated services and content providers for 2006 are as follows.
