TeliaSonera Sweden to supply data network to Skanska

TeliaSonera Sweden to supply data network to Skanska TeliaSonera Sweden has signed an agreement to supply a data network to Skanska in Sweden. The agreement, valid for a three-year period, is worth in excess of SEK 100 million. Skanska has continously about 1400 offices and working sites all around Sweden. Skanska establishes several new working sites every year, when new construction projects are started. This demands simple and flexible communication solutions that can quickly be implemented. The new network solution from TeliaSonera Sweden consists of seven different packages, which are basically solutions for each worksite and their particular requirements. They are all using TeliaSonera Sweden's existing communications platform, and covers data communication needs at everything from the smallest construction sites to Skanska's head office. Instead of having to go through a complicated and time-consuming ordering process many times, Skanska only needs to order the functional package that best suits each workplace. Skanska pays a fixed price for each package and the cost of the different packages is the same, regardless of where it will be supplied in Sweden.
