“Top ten” in mobile phone sales in Telia stores in February

Sony Ericsson dominated sales of mobile phones in Telia’s retail stores during the month of February. Seven out of the ten best-selling mobiles were Sony Ericsson models. However, first place on the February list was captured by the Nokia 5140i, also the No. 1 phone in January. Five out of ten mobile phones sold are equipped with MP3 players.

Three new mobile phones entered the top ten list in February and all were from Sony Ericsson. One of the models, the Sony Ericsson Z520i, took second place on the list. Five out of ten phones on the list have e-mail readers. Seven out of ten have a built-in camera. Telia has opened its retail stores for the winter skiing season in Sälen and Åre, Sweden. The February top ten list is therefore based on sales statistics from 78 Telia stores. Telia is the largest retail chain in Sweden for telecom products and one of the biggest resellers of mobile phones in the country.
