Anders Igel to take up his duties as CEO of Telia on July 1 Anders Igel, who was presented as Telia's new President and CEO on April 8, will take up his new position on July 1, 2002. On that date, Marianne Nivert will end her present role as President and CEO to retire on August 31, 2002. On May 15, Anders Igel will terminate his present position as CEO of Esselte. Between May 15 and June 30, Anders Igel will be engaged in the preparation work prior to the planned merger between Telia and Sonera. During this period he will also be at the disposal of Esselte.
