Correction of Arpu statistics in Telia's january - june 2000 report

CORRECTION OF ARPU STATISTICS IN TELIA'S JANUARY-JUNE 2000 REPORT Telia would like to correct several errors in the ARPU statistics for the Group's Swedish mobile operations that were reported in the semiannual report and to clarify how the ARPU statistics are calculated. The semiannual report contained the following: SEK Q2 Q1 199 199 199 199 2000 2000 9 8 7 6 ARPU, total 308 314 332 362 345 367 Excluding prepaid 458 438 407 381 345 367 cards The teleconference on the report added the following statistics: ARPU, prepaid cards 103 96 The numbers have been corrected as follows: ARPU, total 306 314 332 362 345 366 Excluding prepaid 426 436 407 388 345 366 cards ARPU prepaid cards 109 96 How Telia calculates ARPU ARPU, total: Total sales during the period, divided by the average number of subscribers, divided by the number of months in that period. excluding prepaid cards: Total sales excluding revenues from incoming and outgoing traffic for prepaid cards during the period, divided by the average number of subscribers during the period, divided by the number of months during that period. ARPU, prepaid cards: Revenues from incoming and outgoing traffic for prepaid card customers during the period, divided by the average number of prepaid cards during the period, divided by the number of months during that period.
