Erik Heilborn appointed new Head of International Carrier

Erik Heilborn appointed new Head of International Carrier Erik Heilborn, President and CEO of Telenordia, has been appointed the new Head of the Telia International Carrier business area. He will take over his new position on September 1. Erik Heilborn succeeds Lars Rydin, who has requested to have a more operative and market-based position as Deputy Head of the business area. Erik Heilborn, born 1962, holds a Master's Degree in Engineering and has held a number of positions at Telenordia since 1995. He has been Sales Manager, with responsibility for building up a unit for international carrier business, Vice President of Sales, and President and CEO since 1999. Heilborn serves on the board of the Association of the Swedish IT and Telecom Industry and is Chairman of Telerådet, an advisory council in the telecommunications field. As Head of the International Carrier business area and Senior Vice President, Erik Heilborn will be a member of Telia Group Management.
