Handwritten notes through Speedy Tomato's mobile portal Telia's portal company Speedy Tomato and Anoto have started to collaborate in order to integrate Anoto's services with Speedy Tomato's mobile portal. The Anoto concept will enable you to send hand-written notes directly from paper as a graphical e-mail, fax or as a SMS. The notes can be typed on ordinary paper and will be transmitted via Speedy Tomato's portal to computers, palm devices, mobile phones and fax machines. "Using pen and paper is the natural way of communicating. Anoto's services inspire, support and simplifies peoples' everyday life, which fit's Speedy Tomato's image perfectly," said Johan Hall, acting President of Speedy Tomato. The business model is based on a revenue sharing, where Anoto provides the infrastructure and a number of selected services. Speedy Tomato is currently testing and evaluating the Anoto solution and intends to launch the first services during spring 2002.
