Strålfors to take over Telia's billing services

Strålfors to take over Telia's billing services Effective February 1, 2001, Strålfors Sweden will take over Telia's output data management operations. Strålfors, [the Nordic leader in information logistics], will be responsible for printing and distributing phone bills and marketing mailshots for Telia's different business areas. The outsourcing of these billing services is part of Telia's efforts to focus on its core business. Billing operations will initially be conducted on Telia's premises but will be transferred to Strålfors' facilities in Nacka Strand, just outside Stockholm, already this summer. Telia has previously divested a number of units or broadened their ownership, including In Good Company AB, Telia Kompetens, Svefo AB, Combinator AB, Telia Academy AB, Telia Contracting, Smålandsbörsen Data and Eniro.
