Telia divests its Service Provider operations in Spain

Telia divests its Service Provider operations in Spain Telia today sold its Spanish service provider, Telia Iberia. The company, established in 1999, has sold and marketed IP services on the Spanish business market. The buyer is the Spanish integrated communications provider Cableuropa S.A. which trades under the name Ono. Cableuropa S.A will take over the company with its 60 employees, and will continue to offer IP-services to the customers. The sale generates a capital loss for Telia of approx. SEK 150 million. The divestment is part of Telias efforts to streamline operations in which we are giving priority to the Nordic region and the Baltics.
