Telia Mobile implements streamlining of mobile portal operations with joint technical platform As part of Telia Mobile´s streamlining of mobile portal operations a joint technical platform will be implemented in the Nordic countries leading to major cost savings. The different existing platforms will be out-phased and replaced with the joint technical platform. Streamlining measures for the out-phasing of existing platforms will affect the result for the third quarter 2001 with a write-down of approximately SEK 150 million. The joint technical platform enables major cost savings in form of streamlined common operations, maintenance and development for mobile portals.
