The deal with ISH strengthens our position and cable operators like ISH, that demand a reliable high-performance infrastructure, are a very interesting target group for Telia. ISH is a subsidiary of Callahan Associates International that operates the cable network in the highly populated regions of North Rhine- Westphalia and Baden-Wuerttemberg. The new route expansion is part of ISH's strategy to turn the existing cable network into an interactive fibre-based broadband network. - As we are upgrading our cable network to match the modern broadband standard we need a reliable high-performance network platform that enables us to offer our customers valuable broadband services, like high- speed internet access.
