Telia signs framework agreement with Regional Organisation for Haulage Companies in Sweden Telia has signed a framework agreement with the Regional Organisation for Haulage Companies (Åkeriföreningarna) in Sweden, for the development of telecommunication and data communication services for member companies in various locations throughout the country. Based on current traffic volumes, the agreement can be worth in excess of SEK 250 million in business per year. Around 11,000 trucking firms are currently members of the Regional Organisation for Haulage Companies in Sweden. In the framework agreement, covering both fixed and mobile traffic, Telia and the regional organisation will establish a joint action plan to develop application solutions for telephony and data communications on behalf of member companies. Among other activities, Telia will regularly participate in the organisation's information meetings, seminars, annual meetings and similar events. -We will also review PBX functions at around 1,000 work sites in Sweden and study the possibility of introducing a common portal for all members of the regional organisation, says Lisbeth Lundblad, Sales Manager for Telia Online.
